How to use Filtered Search

  1. Select one of the search criteria buttons below.
  2. Enter a search string in the input field at left and click on the "List" button. All strings that contain the search string will be shown in the list-box to the right.
  3. Select one or more items in the selection box. Multiple selection can be accomplished by holding down the CTRL or SHIFT keys while selecting with the mouse. Multiple selection can also be made by holding down the mouse button and dragging.
  4. Click the List Results button to be transferred to the query results page.
  5. From the query results, you can click "Get text file" to view a text file table of the well information for all of the logs found in the search, or click "Get Excel spreadsheet" to view the same information in a spreadsheet format.  To view a table of information for a single well or to access a PDF document view of the actual well log for that well (if available) click on the well's  highlighted "property description".

Definitions
Driller:Name of well drilling contractor.
Owner:The original or current owner of record.
Property Description:The location of the well, either a legal description or a place name.
Key:A unique number that is chronologically assigned to each well log upon entry into the files.
Search By Well Location
Meridian Quadrant Township Range Section
Meridian:
Select from the Drop Down List. For a map of the Alaskan Meridians go to Meridian
Quadrant:
See Meridian Above; Combines the "N" & "S" of Township and the "E" & "W" of the Range into one of 4 quadrants (NE, NW, SE, SW)
Township & Range:
Enter the Number only, Do Not Enter the "N" or "S" or "E" or "W". They are included in the quadrant.
